Program Overview

Sustainability experts Sanyog Rathod and Carl Sterner of Sol Design + Consulting will lead a 1-hour tour of their recent project “Spring Green Townhomes”, two LEED Platinum targeted near-Passive House townhomes in Over-the-Rhine. Carl and Sanyog will talk about the Passive House design strategies that were integrated into the project, and the design process surrounding the project. The tour will include an overview of the project’s approach to airtightness, insulation strategy for the walls and roof, elimination of thermal bridges, and Energy Recovery Ventilation. Overall benefits of passive house design for the environment and occupants will be discussed.
