Vision
AIA Cincinnati’s Vision program is designed for early professionals on established career tracks who want to gain the skills necessary to advance to higher levels within the architectural profession. Vision supports participants with programming that addresses professional advancement, firm development, and community outreach.
Vision Application & Program Details
Applications are NOW OPEN for Class 15 which starts in October 2026.
Vision runs for 12 months starting with a kick-off session in October, ten (10) full-day facilitated curriculum sessions (monthly typically the third Friday, November through August), six (6) evening keynote lectures (January through July), and concluding with graduation in September. Each month is dedicated to a topic essential to professional development as an architect: communication styles, practice legacy, design legacy, sustainability and resilience, business philosophy, community engagement, advocacy and equity, soft skills in the office, and business philosophy. The tuition for each VISION participant is $3,000, and includes all program materials, Friday program meals, and admission to Thursday keynote lectures for the participant and colleagues at their firm.
Vision Participants
Vision is designed for professionals of any age who have been licensed (Registered Architect) or certified (NCIDQ) less than 12 years. Participants should be established in their careers and recognized as leaders with great potential within their practice. They should be interested in growing their innate leadership capabilities.

Vision Thursday Night Lectures

Vision Alumni
Over 150 local emerging professional leaders have grown through participating in Vision. Most Vision alumni have elevated their positions and roles within their firms. Class 14 (2024-2025) graduated in September 2025.
