Executive Director

Julie Carpenter joined AIA Cincinnati as the Executive Director in August 2019. Julie has spent her career working in museums, nonprofit organizations, and cultural institutions. Her professional focus is nonprofit administration, public relations, community engagement, grant writing, program development, and institutional planning. Julie holds a master’s degree in history with a concentration in museum studies from George Mason University and a bachelor’s degree in history from Wittenberg University. Contact Julie via email with questions and ideas for the chapter, including how to get involved as a member or sponsor.

Programming and Communications Coordinator

Jenna Wasz joined AIA Cincinnati as the Programming and Communications Coordinator in September 2023. With a background and master’s degree as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, her career took a detour to full-time mom of three very cute, yet very demanding, bosses. During that time, she had the privilege to work as a contract employee for a small architecture firm where she gained an appreciation for the mission and values of AIA. She is very enthusiastic about being part of the team and ready to embrace new challenges and opportunities.
