Mark founded AS+P as Asher Associates Architects in 1993, pursuing his passion for bringing the character and beauty of historic coastal architecture to new custom residential homes. Along with a talented team of 23 staff members, Mark has grown the AS+P portfolio to include hundreds of homes gracing exclusive New Jersey coastal towns, the Philadelphia suburbs and beyond. AS+P has recently been selected as one of Ocean Home Magazine’s Top 50 Coastal Architects and Forbes Magazine’s Top 200 Residential Architects. As a member of CRAN’s Advisory Group, Mark facilitates the exchange of knowledge and expertise to promote professional development of residential architects across the country.

Deborah Slaunwhite, AIA, NCARB, ICAA

Deborah joined AS + P in 2008 after working in residential design and historic preservation throughout eastern United States. Though classically trained, she enjoys working in a variety of styles and her design aesthetic helped broaden the firm’s vocabulary to include more contemporary elements. In 2018 she was promoted to Partner and has since deftly balanced a demanding project workload with staff and studio management duties. In addition to her role within the firm, Deborah contributes to the local design community as the Vice President of the Philadelphia Chapter of ICAA.

Jeff Krieger, AIA, LEED AP

During nearly forty years of architectural practice Jeff has acquired extensive experience in all aspects of the building process, from design through project management and construction administration. He has designed, detailed and managed numerous commercial, residential, and institutional projects throughout the United States and abroad.

Prior to founding Krieger + Associates Architects, Inc. in 1992, Jeff worked for several well-known architectural firms including Venturi, Scott Brown and Associates in Philadelphia. He has been a registered architect since 1985, has taught architectural design studios at Drexel University for thirty-five years, and has been active on many non-profit organizations' boards, including the AIA Philadelphia chapter. A Pittsburgh native, Jeff credits the architecture of the iconic steel mills as an early influence.
