Learning Objectives

  • Awareness of outdated practice methodologies and policies that have systematically prevented or discouraged DEI in the architecture and design industry

  • Understanding of the importance to build diverse and inclusive project teams and leaders to deliver great design for all communities

  • Steps to gain access to resources, tools, and networks to help diversify project teams and assist with recruitment and retention efforts

  • Steps to connect with allied organizations, like NOMA, at the local and national level to build stronger pipelines to diverse professionals and students
