Program Overview
This course is intended to provide architects and engineers an overview of emerging AI technology. The course includes an overview of where the technology currently is in development, and where it will potentially go in the future. We also provide an overview of some specific tools (ex: ChatGPT) and how they are being used in the A&E industry. The course seeks to stress where the human element is imperative, and how design professionals can use these emerging tools with a risk management mindset, protecting their firms from unintended liability. In the end, our goal is to make you more knowledgeable and responsible when using AI.
