Program Overview
AIA Cincinnati’s Early Professionals and UC’s Young Alumni have partnered together to present an opportunity to tour the new Indoor Practice Facility and Performance Center on UC’s main campus. The new 180,000 square foot facility will house offices, a weight room, athletic training facilities, equipment room, creative suites, and a brand new 120-yard indoor year-round football field home to the Cincinnati Bearcats. The $134 million project began in April of 2023 and is slated to be finished in spring of 2025. More info for the new facility can be found on their website.
Gensler and MSA are the architects and designers working with Messer Construction who is the construction manager on the project. The tour will be led by a member of the Messer Construction team and will last approximately an hour.
This is an active construction site! Attendees are asked to wear closed toed shoes and long pants and are asked to bring a hard hat and safety glasses. Safety vests will be provided on site.
After registration you will receive a confirmation email with a waiver via email that you will need to print, sign, and return to AIA Cincinnati before noon on Friday, May 2. In the same email the location of the tour meeting place will be shared.
