Architect / Medical Planner
GBBN Architects

Growing up in Indiana, Noah’s first encounter with AIA Cincinnati was during the 2019AIA Ohio Student Hackathon. His team from Ball State University was awarded 1st Prize for their phased master plan revitalizing the Queensgate neighborhood of Cincinnati into a health campus—supporting primary care, urban agriculture, and resources for homelessness and addiction. From this formative experience, Noah graduated from Ball State during the COVID Pandemic in 2020 and committed himself to the pursuit of designing healing environments of all scales, for all people.

Noah’s interest in the intricacies of healthcare architecture led to his enrollment in the Master of Architecture+Health program at Clemson University. While in graduate studies, Noah applied his growing knowledge of healthcare architecture by participating in the 2022 HCD Student Design Competition, the 2022 AIA/ACSA COTE Top Ten for Students Competition, and the 2023 UIA Next Generation of Stroke Rehabilitation Centers Student Competition. Noah received his Master’s degree in 2023 and returned to his Midwestern roots, accepting the role of Medical Planner at GBBN Architects in Cincinnati.

Now a recently Registered Architect with GBBN, Noah collaborates with health systems such as Cincinnati Children’s Medical Center and Margaret Mary Health on the design of pediatric hospitals, rural critical-access hospitals, cancer centers, and outpatient clinics. Through speaking engagements at the 2024 Midwest Healthcare Engineering Conference, 2025 ASHE PDC Summit, and upcoming 2026 AIA Academy of Architecture for Health Senior Leadership Summit, Noah reaffirms his commitment to design excellence across the spectrum of healthcare environments.
