AIA Cincinnati is launching a scholarship opportunity to fund half of the fee for Passive House certification training and exam.  There will be scholarships awarded for two AIA members.  Come learn about the two Passive House certification programs in the United States and the benefits of training.  The Passive House building standard delivers durable, resilient buildings that slash energy use by as much as 90% and dramatically reduce operational carbon emissions.  They feature healthy, comfortable, and quiet interior environments, full of clean, filtered fresh air.

There are two Passive House certification programs in the United States, PHIUS and PHi.  In this program, we’ll explore the similarities and differences between the two programs with practitioners who have real-world experience in each.
