Program Overview

Sam DeBiasi will share Best Practices When Starting Your Firm, Partnership Structures and Equity Sharing for Growing Firms, and Exit Strategy Planning: Building a Sellable Practice. A social will follow the program.

Sam is a CPA and founder of ArchiCPA. He is experienced in public accounting and consulting where he guided private equity backed startups and portfolio companies in setting up their finance and back-office function so that senior leaders could be empowered to make better, financially backed decisions. Sam noticed all the dysfunction at these large organizations and realized there must be similar happenings on a smaller scale. Admiring the outstanding structures around Cincinnati (specifically Mt. Adams), Sam wanted to dive deep into helping the firm owners who are designing this beautiful city.

ArchiCPA is a full-service accounting and advisory firm built to serve architecture firms. It is a 'one stop shop' for tax and accounting services, even offering outsourced business management solutions.

Presented by AIA Cincinnati’s Early Professionals Working Group.

An early professional is defined as someone who is part of the architectural staff and fills one of the following roles: architectural students, recent graduates, unlicensed emerging professionals within 10 years of graduation, OR architects licensed within the last 10 years.

If you’d like to help plan future EP programs and activities (kayaking? Yoga? ARE trivia? tours?) come to one of the EP Working Group Teams meetings - they’re already starting 2026 planning.
