Join us for this unique event at Sycamore Pheasant Club in Loveland, Ohio. Sporting clays offer a great way to engage your customers, clients, and vendors, while networking for new business opportunities. This event is for everyone: experienced shooters and novices, men, and women. Enjoy a relaxing and fun afternoon in the woods and an evening of camaraderie and networking. If you’ve never shot before, this is your chance to try something new! See photos from our event.

Refreshment stands are located across the course which features 75 targets. After the shoot wraps up, participants can network over drinks and dinner by Midwest’s Best BBQ. Prizes for best individual shooter, best team, and more will be awarded during dinner. Door prize winners will also be drawn then.

NEW THIS YEAR for people new to sporting clays we have an introductory session, Clays 101, where you will learn the lingo, safety procedures, and how to shoot clays. Participants in this session will work with a trainer who will provide a gun and ammo for the class (3:30-4:30pm). Happy hour and dinner are included (4:30-6pm).

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: 5 pm on Wednesday, October 15, 2025. Tickets for the clays shoot include 75 rounds of shells per person. You must note your gun gauge when registering for the full shoot. EACH TEAM OR INDIVIDUAL MUST BRING THEIR OWN GUN. The venue does not provide guns for use or rental.

Door prizes: single ticket for $20 or get three tickets for $50

  • NOTE: day-of-event door prize ticket sales are cash only; door prize winners must be present to win.

IMPORTANT EVENT INFORMATION

  • EACH TEAM OR INDIVIDUAL MUST BRING THEIR OWN GUN.

  • ALL participants must complete a safety waiver for the venue. You will receive a link to the waiver in your registration confirmation.

  • Safety first! This is a live fire shooting event and safety is of utmost importance. Safety glasses and earplugs will be provided.

  • Participants must be age 18 or older.

  • Novices are welcome! Sporting clay shooting is a great hobby and we welcome experienced and novice shooters, men and women shooters at this event. If you’re new to the sport, register for our Clays 101 event to get familiar with the lingo, safety, and equipment, then stay for dinner.

  • Registrations and sponsorships are not tax-deductible but may be eligible to deduct as a business expense.

  • In the case of extreme weather conditions or changes in the pandemic situation, the event may be rescheduled.; refunds will not be given if the event is rescheduled.

  • Any COVID restrictions will be communicated to participants in advance of the event. 

  • During the AIA Cincinnati Sporting Clays Event, photography, audio, and video recording may occur. By participating in the event, you consent to interview(s), photography, audio recording, video recording and its/their release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for news, web casts, promotional purposes, telecasts, advertising, inclusion on websites, social media, or any other purpose by AIA Cincinnati and its affiliates and representatives. Images, photos and/or videos may be used to promote similar AIA Cincinnati events in the future, highlight the event, and exhibit the capabilities of AIA Cincinnati.
