The Local Advocacy Working Group works to strengthen the position of architects in the building industry by identifying and promoting the issues, policies, and positions important to the profession, the business, and the practice of architecture.
In 2022, Local Advocacy Working Group participants met with newly elected Cincinnati City Council Members, learned about Green Umbrella’s new Regional Climate Collaborative and how to change zoning, and sent quarterly letters to all the jurisdictions in our nine counties encouraging them to work with architects and design professionals.
