Program Overview
Scott Hand, AIA of Trilobite Design will give a 1-hour tour of his recent project “Mt. Airy House Passive House.” Scott will talk about what led him to pursue Passive House design and the design process surrounding the project. An overview of his approach to airtightness, window selection, insulation strategy for the walls and roof, as well as mechanical equipment selection. Overall benefits of passive house design for the environment and occupants will be discussed.
