Tracey Jumper is a Certified Commissioning Professional with 25 years of experience that began in design, advanced to the technical specialty of commissioning, and evolved to leadership in launching quality-driven departments and companies. Raised in a single-parent household in Scranton, Pennsylvania (Anthracite Chapter), Tracey was the first in her family to graduate from college, earning an Architectural Engineering degree from Penn State University while working various construction jobs.
In 2023, Tracey accepted her current role as a Global Director of Data Center Commissioning at Microsoft. There, she launched a new team to oversee first-of-kind data center projects. She previously supervised the Commissioning Division for EMCOR, a division she co-founded. In addition to founding her own firm, Jump-Start Building Commissioning, Tracey has been instrumental in establishing multiple successful commissioning enterprises. Her clients span notable organizations such as the NFL, NASA, NBC, Estée Lauder, Verizon, General Atomics, Boeing, Schwab, Anthem, Frontier, JLL, and Geisinger, among others.
