Program Overview

It’s a new year and a new legislative session at the Ohio Statehouse. AIA Ohio executive director Kate Brunswick and lobbyist Luther Liggett, Jr. share what AIA Ohio has planned for the 2023 legislative session, and what might happen in the statehouse this year.

The AIA Ohio Architects’ PAC advocates for legislation that will improve the practice of architecture in Ohio. Last year less than 7% of AIA Ohio members contributed to the PAC. Your contribution, even $5 or $10, will make a difference, and more importantly, ensure architects have a stronger voice in Columbus. Donate online and get answers to your questions about the PAC.

Want to do more in greater Cincinnati? The Local Advocacy Working Group meets via Zoom on the second Thursday of each month. Join us at our next meeting, March 9.

Save the date for the March 7 AIA Ohio Advocacy Day at the Statehouse. Register by February 24, 2023!

This is an all-Ohio AIA component program.
