Program Overview
The Local Advocacy Working Group works to strengthen the position of architects in the building industry by identifying and promoting the issues, policies, and positions important to the profession, the business, and the practice of architecture.
Local Advocacy Working Group participants have met with Cincinnati City Council Members, learned about Green Umbrella’s new Regional Climate Collaborative and how to change zoning. They also communicate with all the jurisdictions in our nine counties to inform them of issues impacting the built environment, funding opportunities, and encouraging them to work with architects and design professionals.
