Program Overview

Are you a recent graduate, or working toward licensure, or licensed less than ten years? Then you’re an Early Professional and we want to hear from you!

What events and programming do you want to see for Early Professionals in 2025?

The Early Professionals Working Group wants to hear from you! Please join us via Teams on September 11 at 11 AM to share your feedback, present your ideas, and meet other Early Professionals! We would love to have your input.

The Early Professionals Committee is dedicated to supporting early professionals in:

  1. Achieving licensure

  2. Securing gainful and meaningful employment

  3. Fostering community amongst each other

In 2024, the Early Professionals Committee hosted ARE webinars on topics to help testing candidates pass their exams, including featuring expert guests in topics like insurance & liability, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and plumbing. We've also hosted socials for the wider EP community and collaborated with other young professional groups on programming. Now, we are looking for feedback on what our EP community wants to see next!

As a bonus, attendees who are taking their ARE's will be eligible for the quarterly drawing to cover one exam fee from 2024.

If you have any questions, are interested in learning more about the Early Professionals Committee, or want to get involved before our next working session, please reach out to Julie Carpenter or Darion Ziegler.
