Program Overview
The role of an architect may include helping their clients navigate through decisions that affect their home value. Ideally, architects can help guide clients to get the most out of their home investments. Improvements can create tax liabilities or may qualify for tax benefits. Learn how the appraisal process interprets home improvements in terms of potential return on investment, as well as how the auditor interprets those same improvements for their assessments. We will also discuss how various home improvements may be eligible for residential tax abatement programs available through the Cincinnati Department of Community and Economic Development and how those benefits relate to assessed value.
NOTE: The program time is from 12-1:30pm.
Presented by AIA Cincinnati Custom Residential Architects Network (CRAN).
