Join us to learn about the impact of the Inflation Reduction Act on community infrastructure as well as new capital projects.
When the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) was signed into law in the fall of 2022, it was noted that the impact would be today and for many years to come. The legislation is the “largest investment in climate and energy in American history”, according to the EPA. The intent of the law is to improve prosperity and progress for families, and to make a historic commitment to build a new clean energy economy and improve infrastructure resiliency. The IRA provides funding streams for both taxable and non-taxable entities, offering new avenues for non-profit organizations to finance renewable energy projects and achieve net zero or carbon reduction goals. This act will deliver results through a combination of grants, loans, rebates, incentives, and other investments to support a whole-of-government economic plan. How does building a clean energy economy impact our community in 2023 and beyond? What role can you play in driving this change? How can you help your organization stay on top of the initiatives and incentives surrounding the IRA as new funding announcements and program details continue to become available?
Americans everywhere deserve safe drinking water, secure and efficient energy sources, and reliable bridges and roads that are resilient against today’s cyber threats, extreme weather, and changing energy infrastructure. This bill provides the funding necessary to improve lives today and unlock our potential for a brighter tomorrow. Join us to learn about the impact of IRA on community infrastructure as well as new capital projects.
