CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATOR
HIXSON is a nationally known architecture, engineering and interior design
firm specializing in projects for processing facilities in the food and
pharmaceutical industries, retail department stores and corporate office
environments. We have an opening for a Construction Administrator at our
Cincinnati headquarters.
Description
This position combines field observation of Hixson designed facility construction
with office follow-up to verify the owner’s expectations are met.
The Construction Administrator acts as a liaison among clients, contractors
and Hixson project team members. National travel required; volume depends
on project assignments and location but one to two days a week is normal.
Qualifications
• Significant experience in commercial and/or industrial building
construction
• Experience in field observation and ability to communicate/document
observations
• Familiarity with building construction, mechanical and electrical
systems
• Degree – Architecture, Construction Management or related
area - preferred
• Professional and personal integrity to represent Hixson with clients
and contractors
• Competence in Microsoft Office
